In this session, we move on to discussing judicial independence.  Listen to Podcast 22 Judicial Independence.  You will want to consult this chart.  Read Forcese, Dodek et al, pp. 386-424 (although you may skip the Provincial Court Judges Association case on p.418 and may simply skim for context Tobiass at p.419).

Remember, by this session, you must file with me via email a (maximum) one page report in writing on your Access to Information request addressing: 1. What you requested from whom; 2. What happened (e.g., the information came, there were delays, you were contacted about the request, etc.); 3. Your observations on whether you regard the request as “successful” and “lessons learned” on how you might approach an information request in the future.
