In this practice, we shift our focus to looking at the next branch of government: the executive.  We begin by examining the composition of the executive branch: who is part of the executive branch, how are they appointed, what is their tenure and how are they dismissed?  This is a complex issue, since many different sorts of actors constitute the executive branch and the and the answer to the appointment, tenure and dismissal questions differ between these actors.  In Podcast 15 Executive Branch Overview, I provide a fairly basic overview on these matters, but still one that gives you some sense of the complexity.  This is a podcast you'll want to listen to several times.
