Dobbs on Emergency and Unavoidable Accident
Dobbs' Law of Torts is a leading treatise on tort law. It provides a helpful overview of tort rules, their justification, and variation in different jurisdictions. I will assign sections from this treatise to provide context for some of the cases that we read or to expose you to areas of doctrine that we do not analyze in detail in this course.
