The textbook for Federal Reserve System: Law and Policy perspectives supports a two-credit course designed to provide an enhanced understanding of the Federal Reserve System and its key roles as the Central Bank of the United States. The course covers history, legal, and policy underpinnings of the Fed’s core responsibilities in monetary policy, supervision and regulation, financial services, financial stability, among others. Key cases, statutes and regulations involving the Federal Reserve System will also be discussed.
