Japanese Internment, part 2

Various memorials and museums preserve some of the history of the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII:

The Heart Mountain WWII Japanese American Confinement Site in Wyoming.

The WWII Japanese American Internment Museum in McGehee, Arkansas, is near the site of the Rohwer Japanese American Relocation Center.

Additional memorials include:

Japanese American Memorial to Patriotism During World War II (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov)

Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial - Minidoka National Historic Site (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov) [With the following unfortunate wording on their website: "At the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum children and adults alike will enjoy this delightful local museum located in a 1908 Bainbridge Island schoolhouse."]

The Go For Broke Monument, which "stands as a powerful tribute to Japanese American men and women who served during WWII."
