This class will require you to read a lot of statutes and court opinions (mostly federal rather than state), which are written in a specialized and often inaccessible style and language that can be daunting at first. In advance of Prof. Pfefferkorn’s first lecture of the quarter, please take the following crash course in learning how to read.
