There are two optional study guides for this portion of the course. Both are available in the google folder available from the link below.
1) "Irene Loewenson_Bonds and Counterbonds Explained.pdf" is a document from a former TA that explains the how and why of bonds and counterbonds.
2) A series of videos by former TA Thomas Nielson explain bonds, counterbonds, the Matthews v. Eldridge test, and how the Matthews factors relate to the list of procedural due process requirements available in Vitek as well as the list of factors that courts rely on to make PDP rulings (e.g., judge/clerk, old/new property, preexisting property interest, testimony/documents proof, etc.).
These are both optional, but if you have any questions about these matters, I recommend reviewing either or both.
