Ethics Complaint Against Letitia James
Letitia James is the Attorney General for New York and is barred in New York. This complaint was filed by America First Legal Foundation "an American 501(c)(3) nonprofit[1] conservative public interest organization founded in 2021 by Stephen Miller." (Source: Wikipedia).
Letitia James has been the subject of other ethics complaints.
- For example, former Gov. Cuomo filed an ethics complaint against James claiming she "issued a purposefully inaccurate and misleading Report on August 3, 2021—which violated Rules 4.1 and 8.4(c)— bombastically and repeatedly implying that I sexually harassed eleven women." (That complaint is here, but it is not part of your reading assignment.)
- In another example, N.Y. Republican Representative Elise Stefanik filed an ethics complaint against James claiming "she violated the Rules of Professional Conduct [8.4, 3.6, and 3.8] by conducting a biased investigation and prosecution of President Trump and by attacking President Trump through extrajudicial statements during a trial." (That complaint is here, but is also not part of your reading assignment).
