Contract Liability: The Agent

We've have discussed the contract liability of the principal; let's turn to the potential liability of the agent. If I sign a purchase order on your behalf, am I personally liable if you choose to not pay? The answer depends on whether I disclosed that I’m signing as an agent and whether I disclosed your identity.
